Why is it that weeks can go by where Steve and I look at each other Saturday morning and speculate on what we want to do with the day, but every couple of months there is a weekend that is absolutely over-committed?
Aaron is coming to the Bay Area for California Extreme next week and Steve has been looking forward to the chance to see him and play lots o’ games. It wasn’t until yesterday that I realized that California Extreme is the same weekend as the Dunsmuir Highland Games. We were talking about ways to fit both events into our weekend when another commitment came to the fore.
Mr. I-Cain’t-Say-No once again promised to do the lighting for the local community theatre show. Would anyone care to hazard a guess as to when load-in is for the show?
Mind you, even 2 of these events would be manageable if we had a full weekend, but we do our WildCare shift every Sunday morning. We have to be there until 1:00, but we usually don’t get out of there until 2 or 3 at this time of year.
When are you going to the games? We could maybe meet you there on Sunday if you go that day? LM loves a good Scottish festival!
