I am not enjoying the aging parents thing.  My dad is in his early 70s and a big ball of stress so I am always afraid that one of these days the phone call I get will not be a good one. I hate living so far away from my family!

How true that is....  Now that my father&#039;s 76, I finally have to accept that he&#039;s not just &quot;older,&quot; but &quot;old.&quot;  It took me several months to accept that I need to speak louder and more slowly if I want him to participate in the conversation, and that he forgets stuff more than he used to.  It&#039;s hard!
