I am a research librarian at an intellectual property-focused law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Since March 2006, I have been the Government Relations Chair for the SFBay Region chapter of the Special Libraries Association. I am also currently the chapter’s Secretary (2009-2010) and am on the association’s Public Policy Advisory Council (2009-2011).
Since January 2003, my husband and I have volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation hospital. In addition to our weekly shift in the clinic, we are also on the raccoon foster care team and usually have orphaned raccoons in an enclosure in our yard from June to October every year.
I also help my husband with lights for a local community theatre group for 3 to 5 shows per year. I used to act in these shows until my commute tripled a few years ago.
I have very little free time.
